We buy castings, forgings, raw materials and foundry sand.

Metal for the instruments the group builds, and sand, bentonite and resins for the sand work. All of it is bought through the year rather than in one season. If you cast, forge, machine or stock what we use, register here and purchasing will have your details on file.

01 What we buy

Castings

Grey and ductile iron, machined and unmachined, for instrument bodies and for the assemblies built around them.

Forgings

Carbon and alloy steel forgings for powertrain and fluid power parts, including work that is induction hardened afterwards.

Raw materials

Bar, plate and sheet, and the special alloys the harder jobs call for.

Foundry raw materials

Silica sand, bentonite and resins, and the additives that go with them.

Nothing here is a commitment on either side. It puts you on the list purchasing works from, and someone will come back to you when there is a job that fits.

IATF 16949, ISO 9001, or none yet.

For example grey iron FG 260, or EN8 bar.
