1.1 General information

Hot Shell Tensile Tester is equipped with a loading mechanism, heating mechanism and sensing mechanism which are controlled by Microcontroller or PLC and observed on LCD display. By default it can measure the hot tensile strength.

With Help of attachment it can also measure

  • Cold Tensile Strength (Refer 4.2.1)

1.2 General Usage

Hot shell tensile tester has been designed as a complete unit for forming, curing and breaking the specimen in the same position. Fill the sand sample in jaws cavity, press the START key & after curing time equipment shows the hot tensile strength reading.
